I have no particular hatred for the Cowboys (unlike many on here).

The Cowboys used to whip up on the Saints when they (Cowboys) were good. That's what good teams are supposed to do. The Saints have now turned that around and have won the last 4 (or 5) between the teams.

I do recall one game in Dallas when Bum Phillips was coaching the Saints, and Kenny Stabler was our QB. The Saints led 20-13 with about 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter; and were in field goal position. Morten Andersen came in to attempt the field goal, which was blocked by Dallas, and run back for a TD. 20-19 Saints, pending the PAT. But the PAT was blcoked; still 20-19 Saints. Dallas kicks off to the Saints, who could not move, and had to punt back to Dallas. Danny White (Dallas QB) moves the Cowboys all the way down the field, inside the Saints 10, then throws a third down pass into the end zone, which is intercepted by Saints LB Dirt Winston. Instead of taking a knee, Winston runs it out, and is tackled at the 2. Next offensive play, Kenny Stabler is tackled in the end zone for a safety, 21-20 Dallas. which is the final score. It is the only time in NFL history a team leading by one point, loses by one point due to a safety.

I didn't hate the Cowboys for that because, frankly, it was the Saints fault.

'84 --- we're playing Monday Night Football, special Sunday Night Edition. Kickoff moved back for Reagan/Mondale debate... Richard Todd
leads us to a 21 pt. lead. Who Dats are owning Texas Stadium. Boy's fans are leaving. Todd goes down at the end of the 3rd Q. In comes the Snake Stable Horror Show. We blow 21 pt. lead & lose in OT at 1 oclock in the morning. 21 point choke in 4th quarter. Saddest drive
ever back home, and you know thats saying a lot. Stable retires.

Of course, was it '88? Cowboys in Dome. MNF. Morten kicks the miracle 50 something yarder w/ 2 seconds, and runs around the field. The Cowboys Curse is exorcised. I am a one-man-riot in my house.
I can still celebrate thinking about it.

I hate them because they have a bunch of bandwagon puke fans. I want to beat their ass again, and tell ya what- all that noise those frigan fans are always making has been rather quiet.

Texans believe that Louisiana is simply a large county of their state. For that reason alone. It has nothing to do with the crass need to supersize everything from their stadiums to their lips to their innertube sized 32" belt supported blubber beer guts. Nor the Id based outlook on life. "Look at me I'm famous" is the state motto.

uh uh, Xanny. You cant put us all in that box. For starters, I wish I had a 32 inch waist! I see Louisiana as my state's prettier sister, who belongs to a sorority we cant join--- The Deep South. While its true, I do drive a pickup truck and own guns, I dislike Jerry-World as much as you do. And while we're talking "mine is bigger," do remember the first thing the world heard about the Superdome--- "It can fit the Astrodome inside it." glass houses, bro.

Anyway, the Big Tex image you might have (some of my friends are cowpokes--theyre not bad guys actually) is a thing of the past. 90% of everybody here is from Mexico.

Nevertheless, lets all hate on the Cowboys this week, if for nothing else, for the way they have sucked this year. Lets put em out of their misery.
