The Cowboys were a class act in the 60's and 70's with coaches like Tom Landry and the adoration of a nation. That slimy Jerry Jones changed all that. I feel for their fans who are as loyal as the Saints fans have been.

That's exactly how I feel. I even watched those teams in the 70s as a kid growing up, once Jones and his ego took over that sealed the deal.

I hate the Cowboys for some of the same reasons I hated the 49'ers and Steelers.

They're a team with a great history, loaded with stars, and get calls in their favor that other teams don't get.

Thats bad enough, but when some talking head says they "should" get away with it because they're stars and have earned it, I want to vomit.

I hate teams that benefit from biased officiating. Its one of the main reasons I now despise the once great NBA.

And ditto the sentiments about media coverage. An 8-8 Dallas team gets as much coverage as most 12-4 teams do. Not quite as bad as Yankees/Red Sox but pretty close.

I'm sick of NFL and ESPN's love affair with them.

Did any of you see the Eagles/Giants game last night? It was ridiculous!!! They were talking about the Cowboys through the entire game. You'd think the Cowboys were on the field, playing.

I also notice how after my team beat them yesterday... all they're talking about is what the Cowboys did wrong instead of giving credit to the Chargers for the win.

agree'd. Tom Landry was a
good guy, so was Staubach, and even Don Meredith. Landry, in my book, actually wrote the book on clock management, and play calling, hence their reputation for comebacks.

But I hated the Cowboys as a kid, because their fans dissed my Oilers back then. I felt the same way when I was older, living in the Shreveport area--- "How can you live in Louisiana, and wear Cowboys colors???"

Also I hated the way CBS seemed to root for them. I seriously disliked them in the '90s when they were the Crack-Wagon, and thought Michael Irvin was the most obnoxious player in history.

The media is just a bunch of parrots now, so I dont care who they love.
I think Romo is a good guy, believe it or not. He cant help it if there's a camera in his face 24-7. The dumbass media is apparently unaware the Boys havent won a playoff game in over a decade. I like Romo, alright.
Wade Phillips is a great defensive mind, and has been for years, but I think he lacks the celebrity look a Cowboys coach should have. I think Jerry Jones is the reason the team doesnt win. He needs to get his a** off the field, and get out of the way.

But I dont really hate the Cowboys anymore. I have numerous friends who root for them, and really, considering their recent suckage, it kind of
takes a die-hard to be a fan of theirs now.

But I want to crush them Saturday night for the sake of our faithful Who Dat brethren in Shreveport, and all of NW Louisiana.
