Ready for this??

The performance of the saints defense will depend most importantly on the saints offense!!

If the Offense depends on quick strike score and or goes 3 and out then the defense will be horrible. Offense must establish drives and control the clock!

If the Seattle offense performs the way they have shown they are capable of, I really don\'t think there is much the Saints D will be able to do to stop them. The offense is complete with the acception of ORT Chris Terry. Womack is a very capable experienced replacement however. I don\'t think the Saints D will generate much consistent pressure with just a four man rush. Hasselbeck is a fairly mobil QB and has the feet to avoid pressure and can throw on the run. He\'s been much better at reading and quickly reacting to defenses including blitzes. I don\'t think the Saints will have too much success in the sack department and blitzing will expose a vulnerable backfield.

This is presuming that the Seahawks offense comes out and plays like they did to finish the season last year, or in their two pre-season wins this year. If they come out flat or out of sync like they have to begin previous years, then it\'ll be a long day as a Seahawk fan.

You think the hawks offense is beter than the Saints. And how \'bout special teams
And your defense was worse than ours last year.

I think the Seattle offense is better than the Saints Defense. I wouldn\'t say neccessarily they are better than the Saints offense.

Defense and special teams are the real question.

The defense last year was decimated by injuries. (at one point all three starting LB\'s were out). When they started getting injured players back last year, the defense started to perfom better... but they still sucked. They had a great off season on defense. Four new FA starters, two great rookie additions, and a complete overhaul of the defensive coaching staff. They\'ve shown some flashes during the pre-season. The ability to stop the run, and apply some QB pressure. Unfortunately they had a bunch of minor injuries so we weren\'t able to see the complete D in action together much. I\'m hopeful, that is the best I can say. The defense will get better as the year goes on. The key in this game is that the offense will have to score early and often, not make critical turnovers, and make first downs.

Our kick coverage teams had better perform better than they did in pre-season. The injuries for this week include a couple of key ST coverage players (Kaz and Huff). The strategy has to be to kick away from Lewis.

The best pick up Seattle made on defense was the coordinator Ray Rhodes. He has turned around Defenses everywhere he has been a coordinator.

Sorry guys Seattle 31 Saints 10

hmm i really dont think the saints will score close to 10 points all season low score wise i think 20 points may be low for this team unless your 10 actually was a 40 ...this offence is way to good to even hover around 10 points

VASaints, hope u r right about 20 points being the low point but the offense only scored 6 points in the game against the Panthers last year. That 20 point low would have qualified for a playoff spot.
