this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I think the defense holds Seattle to under 20pts. I also think they will sack Hasselback 4 times. What ya think?...

Seattle is notorious for slow starts. I hope this year is no different.
I think we get 2 picks and 4 sacks, but give up chunks of yards. You\'ll see signs of a great Defense in the making, but its still too early to be dominant. Our special teams will win this one for us. |

I see us winning the game and monopolizing the game clock with an effective running attack, but as for the defense, my prediction is a 2 sack performance, no picks but maybe a forced fumble, and that we\'ll keep them around 100 rushing and Hassleback will be around 220 passing. I think we will not be under 20 points in game one though. 30-27 Saints.

The Squawks have the potential to put up alot of points, their problems at offensive tackle is gonna hurt them though. Even if both Howard and Grant dont play Sunday, we should be able to get pressure from the outside with Kenny Smith and Melvin Williams. If we cant get pressure we will be in for a long day, cause Koren Robinson and Daryl Jackson are one the best WR tandems in the game.

Saints D gets 2 sacks and recovers a fumble, gives up 120 yards on the ground, 250 in the air (150 off of screen passes), and allows a minimum of 20 points.
