Re: Check out what Jason Whitlock thinks about the Saints
Then with that Paul, Whitlock is still behind his preseason pick... but I see your point about the general media. It's been like that since forever and it'll never change. It's so standard these days I just don't see why one would frustrate oneself over something so nit picky.
This is just my opinion on the MVP voting... besides DeSean Jackson being there (you can see why Whitlock put him there because he's an Eagles fan), I honestly feel everyone behind Manning are interchangeable. If he would have completely snubbed Brees out of his top 5, I'd probably hold some resentment towards him... but he didn't. |

Re: Check out what Jason Whitlock thinks about the Saints
It is what it is. If Drew wins the SB this year...he will be higher rated next year. If he falters...it will be more of the same.
The Saints won the NFC regular season tourney. (1st time for this, I believe) Nobody can ever take that away from them. Now, they need to win the playoff tourney...and an MVP for Drew would work wonders for his resume. All the talk in the world regarding straightening people out on how good we are is simply that...talk. We need to prove it on the field...it's that simple. |
Whether you think you can or think you can't...you're right!

Re: Check out what Jason Whitlock thinks about the Saints
In a couple of posts this guy is called a reporter. He is not.
He is just another writer in a very long line that spouts his opinions like a drunk at a bar, just trying to start an argument. Look in the same article what he wrote about Meyer. I don't like Florida, but even I can see how disrepectful that piece is. And when did 'reporters' start writing about who they hope would win? |

Re: Check out what Jason Whitlock thinks about the Saints
I'm having a hard time arguing with his statement that he never really believed in the Saints. How can I? There have been quite a few games this year where we only played good ball for half the game, or we got really lucky when it mattered most. While it was happening a lot of people said, "that's what good teams do" and I would agree with that. If you don't follow the Saints as much as we do, you might not feel the same way.
I would also offer that good teams don't fold down the stretch and that's exactly what our Saints have done for the last month. When it mattered and we needed the win, we couldn't pull it out. That's enough to cast doubt on our team for anyone who's not blinded by homerism. |

the guys a moron. implying that urban was quitting football because he's a sore loser? give me a break! has he not heard the 911 calls from his wife where he's past out on the floor?
if he thinks for 1 SECOND, that the florida head coaching job is any less stressful than that of the president of the united states 1) he's never been to gainsville 2) he knows nothing of florida's fans and boosters fanaticism and the expectations that go along w/ having that job 3) he knows nothing about florida football 4) he's a moron (ok, thats more of an opinion, not a fact). dumb nagger. |
