Re: Uncapped year
Gonna be very interesting to say the least. Right now I would have to say Grant and Bush are gone, probably add Brunell to that list too, but really, no idea on how this will work. IMO the salary cap is working and there is really no need to rock the boat. There were a lot of pains in the beginning that seem to be worked out now. I just hope there is not a work stoppage. This issue has lockout written all over it.

Re: Uncapped year
The union - wants more of the pie and of course wants whip cream and ju ju beans to boot
The NFL - They say their the pie is cut fair and wont give up the ju ju's or the cream The fans - we wonder how big these two pieces of the pie really are. But like two year olds both the NFL and the union refuse to show us their slice of the pie. Me - I am still wondering why we subsidize these two brats still. The NFL is doing everything to keep a lid on salaries, no matter how silly it seems. Parity is the word here. The NFL does not want to turn into baseball. Unfortunately small market teams are favored to win the super bowl this year. This is going to blow up in there faces if an owner decides to open up his wallet and play Yankee ball this year. other than IMO others have posted pretty much all I understand of this pile of crap we all find ourselves standing in right now |
