Re: Pierre Thomas , fractured ribs
I've had broken ribs twice, and its hard to even breathe, let alone get tackeled by a 250 pound lineman. If he plays in two weeks, I'll be surprised.

He'll have padding and they'll shoot him up with whatever they use now a days. I'd like to see someone keep him out of the game.

Re: Pierre Thomas , fractured ribs
The good news is he does have some time to heal, the bad news is he still has broken ribs. Not too sure what we can expect out of him, hopefully he is a fast healer. All I know is the running game struggles when he is on the sidelines. I guess in all honesty, the Saints really just need a little bit of a running game, and Brees should be fine.

Re: Pierre Thomas , fractured ribs
The Saints are equally good and not so predictable with Thomas in the game. He is the best runner and atleast equal to Bush as a reciever. They can easily run or pass with Thomas in the game. It's usually a pass with Bush in the game and no one fears him as a runner. It's usually a run with Bell in the game and he's no threat as a reciever. Plus, he's struggling as a runner right now. He's much better when he tries somewhat to avoid defenders as he did early in the year. Hamiliton might be the overall 2nd best RB on the team right now. He's productive as a runner and has similar skills to Thomas as a reciever.

Depending on the location and type of fracture, he could be fine in two weeks. He's already had one week off. My bet is that he'll be a decoy for the next game. Reggie, you'd better be ready.
