Re: Grant out for season!
i mean it was a HUGE CLUTCH play. but looking at the picture now, it wasnt all that tough of a play. freeman pretty much threw it low enough for grant to drop kick the ball out the air. lol. well not that low, but u get what ima sayin. credit grant for being in position at least and having the awareness to get his hands up in the air and bat it down. but isnt that pretty much the basics for D lineman? i think we'll be fine w/o him |

Re: Grant out for season!
Here are Grant's stats for this season:
Seems like when he decided to show up, he did. 4 games does not a season make, however. And worse, his "show up" games were against the worst rated offensive lines in the league (J-E-T-S 23rd in PP, StL 24th, TB 11th and Buf 32nd.) Put a couple of low salary guys who'll be excited for the 3 paydays and you'll see a lot of aggressive play. Hopefully they'll play well in the system... | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Re: Grant out for season!
I feel like Grant is going to be missed some what the rest of the year. I'm hoping that we bring in a couple of talented DE's in the off season. The really bad thing is this diminishes his trade value.

Re: Grant out for season!
Grant has played this year like he has every other year with the Saints. Looks like all pro player and disappears for long stretches. Seriously, this does hurt the Saints, at least with their rotation formula. Since he has been with the team all this time, I would have loved to see him finish the season. The writing has been on the wall for a good while that he will probably not be with the Saints next season. Especially now, I just don't see that happening.
