Only three days to go...
Well, the time is nearly upon us and all of the faithful WhoDat nation are or will be;
1) Getting in the shrimp, ribs, beers etc. 2) Getting out their lucky socks, pants, hats or whatever they haven't washed. 3) Going to church and laying down some serious prayers. 4) Making sure they have booked time off work (though I've a feeling no one will be working anyway) and if you couldn't get the time of work, got your friend to run over your leg with his pickup so you could say you were involved in a hit and run and have to stay home 5) Checking their tickets for the thousandth time to make sure they have the right one or if you are not actualy going to the game, have told everyone that if they disturb you when the game is on, you will kill them. 6) A de-fibrillator all charged and ready to use. 7) Stored all the breakables away and have put a cage over your tv in case of bad calls 8) put the dog at parents/neighbours because, as much as you try and justify it, there is no excuse for trying a field goal with pooch through the open window! 9) Also, cats and small children for 8) 10) Plenty of tissues for the tears of joy or sorrow that are bound to flow. There may be no crying in Baseball, Football etc. but you know as a Saints fan, tears are part and parcel of supporting this team. 11) Make sure you have protective headgear on because any score will undoubtedly involve you hitting your head on the ceiling. 12) Most importantly: IF we happen to lose, which is always possible in this crazy game STAY AT HOME AND DO NOT VENTURE OUT UNTIL YOUR EMOTIONS HAVE SUBSIDED! It does no one any good when someone wishes you good day/evening and your response is f*** you!! ENJOY THE GAME, PEOPLE. |

Hopefully we won't need to break out #12. That was some seriously good stuff.

Re: Only three days to go...
I haven't been able to attend a game, but I've watched every game on television. I make it be known that no one calls or texts me during the game, and if anyone watches the game with me, there are no outside conversations not concerning the game. My focus is strictly on the game at hand. I haven't threatened death on anyone yet, but it is a great possibility this Saturday.

Re: Only three days to go...
Great post. I think I'll put a note up in the entrance to the building i live in since there might be massive hollering late at night. (The game starts 1030pm here).
