Re: Saints injury report 1/13
Forgot about Young. Kept thinking he was done after surgery then realize he's not on the injury report. So odd seeing such a short list of injuries that it's almost hard to believe.
If Greer and Porter can play like they were at the beginning of the season then I will not be worried one bit. |

Re: Saints injury report 1/13
I just saw Michael Lombardi on NFL Network said that everyone practiced at FULL yesterday. Say's that the SAINT'z are HEALTHIER now than they were when the season started. Thats awesome new's & will make a huge difference!
Ive noticed alotta people talk'n about how Sharper fell off alot in the 2nd half of the season, but they dont understand that NO, he did NOT fall off at all. The reason we didnt hear his name much, is becuz our defense ran a (Cover-2) scheme most of the time, so he was having to play up & back up Jenkins & Gay every game & wase'nt able to FREE LANCE & ROAM around like he was the first half. Now that Greer & Porter are back & start'n again, Sharper can now sit back & play center field, like he wants to. thats were he get's is INT's from & i would expect to see atleast one pick Saturday. We WILL be Blitzing alot & Now that Grant's out & McCray is starting, we will now be able to put consistent pressure on Warner. McCray is an all around better pass rusher, than Grant ever was. He's FAST & Play's 110% EVERY play. He should've been START'n all season, but with Grant's HUGE ass CONTRACT, they were not about to sit Grant, which i would'veregaurdless of CONTRACT... Thats just me though!!! We will be fly'n!!! |

Re: Saints injury report 1/13
I agree..McCray tends to over pursue..having all our linbackers and cornerbacks will help im hoping...also it lets our safetys help in run support more..We have to tackle better than we were at the end of the season...if we can get up on D like we did against New England....i see us winning..

Re: Saints injury report 1/13
Only four corners on the roster makes me more than a little nervous. We've had a hard time keeping these guys on the field. I do feel good about getting our starters back rested and healthy for the playoffs.

See that's what I was saying. I know Young can move over into cornerback if need be, but I'd feel a tad bit better having at least one more on the roster and I think McKenzie would have been at least a decent veteran addition.
