I'm sorry, but I'm not seeing this Vikings disrespect that's being discussed here. I'm watching this 90 minute Total Access, and it seems to me like everyone down the line is more interested in the Vikings than the Saints. Even Phil Simms (#1 Saints Hater, Cris Carter #2), made an appearance to go ahead and predict the Vikings to win the Superbowl!

The only two people I have seen pick us all week, is Mark Schlereth, and Trent Dilfer. Two analysts, does not a majority make. We might be picked in Vegas, but make no mistakes my friends, the majority of the football world is picking the Vikings.

And that's the way I want it. Doubt us, and underdog us, because that's when we play our best ball.

Just not getting where the Vikings are feeling "disrespected" here.

Chris Carter has never picked the Vikings all year, so that would be a change. Schefter, Schlereth and Dilfer as well have been hating on the Vikings. So much has been made of the Vikings line, Brett's age and how the Vikings, "Can't run the ball anymore" and how mediocre the Vikings have been on the road.

Depends on who you are and where you look as a result.

Well, I don't know what your version of "showing love" is, but Cris Carter has not picked us all season either. Primetime, basically threw us under the bus before the first play off game started. As just stated, in 90 minutes of play off coverage, the NFL Network is sitting in Brett Favre, and Jared Allen's laps right now, waiting to hear superbowl stories.

I also would like to hear more about the teams and game rather than about Favre and his legacy.

The media is just trying to get ratings, Favre is a very compelling story and he does have a heck of a resume. Maybe in 9 years Brees will be getting all the attention if he leads a team to the NFCC at 40 yr old.

It sucks to be discounted, but it is what it is.

Every damn week, the media would pick our opponets to "pull off the upset"

NY Giants, Atlanta, New England, Dallas, Arizona.

And we went 13-0, get your stats right.

All season, they made up some bullsh*t excuse as to why we wouldn't win.

Last year, Brees threw for over 5,000 yards, and he still got snubbed for MVP. How is THAT respect?

So really both teams werent favored for much of the season and had alot to prove. I dont doubt it would be different if you guys had drawnt the Cowboys last week and Minny got the Cards...because the Cowboys are a better win. But the lesson as always, nobody knows nothing about anything, especially media dolts.

Brees would have won hands down if they had made it a wild card, if I remember that was the sticking point.
