We will see. I've been saying all along that the Chargers were vastly overrated. As a Colts fan, I wanted the Chargers matchup because the whole "they got your number" business is getting out of hand. Now we'll have to wait until next season to put that myth to bed. It's really their only claim to fame.

Oh yea, and even if Rivers and Brees are a wash on the field (which I don't believe, but for the sake of argument we'll run with that), Brees is 1000 times the man Rivers is off of it. That alone would leave me kicking myself if I were a Chargers fan.

How so? I'm not discrediting anything Brees has done for your community but Rivers has done a lot for our community too.

Rivers is widely considered to be a jerk by many across the NFL. I still remember him jawing with fans after winning in Indy 2 years ago. Then there's the on-the-field taunting between him and Broncos (and yes, Cutler is a jerk as well). That's not something you'd find elite quarterbacks like Brady, Brees, or Manning doing. I guess when your leader is immature, I'm not suprised when other members of the team are picking up 15 yard penalties for undisciplined things like head butts after the play and kicking a challenge flag.

On the other hand, I've been following Brees since his sophomore year at Purdue (I was at Purdue over the same period) and I can't remember a single incident where he represented himself, his team, or his school in anything less than a way that would make you proud that he was representing you.
