Unfortunately, I think he's done for now. He's a good guy. Hoping he comes back for our Super Bowl run. We have a tough opponent this week. Bolts4Life is a class act! He'll be back.

Hey Guys/Girls...

Thanks to the nice comments. Yeah, Sunday was disappointing but I had a great tailgate with friends, family, good food, good drinks, and great weather.
On the plus side... finally an area in DownTown San Diego got the green light from our mayor to begin scoping out a new stadium. So hopefully like you guys, I'll soon be able to say "we'll have our home team for a very, very long time!!"

Our time has to come soon. We're too good for it not to happen but it's obviously not now. So let's make this year your time!!!
Though I have to tell you, that Jets defense is freakin' awesome!!! From what I've seen of the Ponies lately... I think we'll see a Saints/Jets Super Bowl! Though going by the last game... I think you guys will beat them. Just hope your offensive line is ready for a very physical match up.

I'll be here cause Saints are one of my secondary favorite teams and I'd love to see them win a Super Bowl.

BOLTS, forgive my ignorance on all things San Diego, but is the stadium there really THAT old? Seems like it was new (as Jack Kent Cooke(?) Stadium) just in the lat 15 years or so? Or was it just a new name change?

I just looked up the answer to my own quest. Didn't realize the stadium there dates from 1967. You guys are due for a new one!

42 years old. It was 1980 when it was named "Jack Murphy Stadium." Today, it's Qualcomm Stadium.

To make a long story short, last time we hosted a Super Bowl was 2002. NFL wants more Super Bowls here but won't do it in Qualcomm. About the first 15 rows from the field are obstructed view.

It's a great stadium for the fans... LOTS of parking, awesome tailgating, nice field, great seats, etc. but it's outdated. That and the broiler room is falling apart.

LOL. As angry as I am with our kicker, it would have also helped if we got in the endzone on one of those drives.
I can't stand our coach... can't believe he got a 3 year extension... but I think out talent can win despite of Norv.

God... I wish We had your coach!!! :D

dude what happened out there, was it over confident like the experts are saying, did you guys look ahead. the jets d is badass but like my bro-n-law said thought it was the safest bet all year. a team that backed in man. do you have it in for the colts and there resting players or your team for not executing. feel for u man take care. i hope i am not to overconfident with our boys but i don't see this one close, i'm not at all intimidated with the vikes. that wall has failed before.

Marty knew talent. He preferred Brees over Rivers. I think that is why he had problems with the GM (Smith?)

I liked Marty too.

I'm proud of Brees and glad he's done well for you guys but Rivers hasn't exactly done us horrible either. Both are completely different QBs but also top 5 QBs.

As good as Brees is, Rivers has given us no season to miss him. Though I've been every home game Brees and Rivers have played here in San Diego and it's been money well spent!!! :cool:

We will see. I've been saying all along that the Chargers were vastly overrated. As a Colts fan, I wanted the Chargers matchup because the whole "they got your number" business is getting out of hand. Now we'll have to wait until next season to put that myth to bed. It's really their only claim to fame.

Oh yea, and even if Rivers and Brees are a wash on the field (which I don't believe, but for the sake of argument we'll run with that), Brees is 1000 times the man Rivers is off of it. That alone would leave me kicking myself if I were a Chargers fan.

I used to like the Bolts when Brees was the QB..i am sorry for your loss Bolt..but i just dont like Rivers or A.J..kinda like Romo and J.J..no offense..i just think A.J has brought bad Karma to your team..i mean Kaeding was money until it counted most...Get rid of A.J ..

I'm no AJ fan either and he's lost A LOT of credibility among fans.

After the 2004 draft, the city and fans loved him. After that situation with him and Marty then bringing in Norv... it continues to regress.

On the other hand... we love Rivers.
