Alright, listen up!

You played a great game last week against a team coming off an impressive win. A team that many thought could out score us. A team most thought would defeat us.

They said we'd come out rusty. They said we had lost our momentum, our swagger, our mo-jo. But you showed the world what you're made of. You showed them your character and that you had lost nothing and I'm proud of this team and this locker room for what you accomplished last week.

This week, we face another opponent coming off an impressive win. A team that finished second in our conference. A team that we have some history with. For those of you who don't know that history, let me enlighten you. This team knocked the Saints out of their first playoff appearance here in the Dome. Then they did it again the next time the Saints got to the playoffs. But those teams are not THIS team. Those teams didn't have the character of THIS team, they didn't have the DESIRE that THIS team has and they didn't have the TALENT and DETERMINATION that THIS team has.

Those same prognosticators that were talking about our demise at the hands of the Cardinals last week STILL don't believe what they see. They STILL think that ANY team we face WILL BEAT US! They think that the Vikings, who lost to Chicago and lost out on the chance to be the 1 seed, will now, all of a sudden be UNBEATABLE!

The Viking players you will meet out on that field today believe what these media people are telling them. Those players have NO respect for us. They believe that they just need to show up with the great FARVE and they will win. They believe that they can just come into OUR HOUSE and just walk all over us without any problem.

Well, that's not what I believe. I believe that WE, are the 1 seed for a reason, and that reason is because WE ARE THE BEST team in the NFL.
I believe that the Vikings are the 2 seed for a reason. BECAUSE THEY ARE THE SECOND BEST TEAM in the NFC and I KNOW that you are going to go out there and PROVE that to them and the rest of world.

This is OUR time, this is OUR HOUSE, BE SPECIAL, SMELL GREATNESS, FINISH STRONG, GO TAKE THAT CHAMPIONSHIP!! WHO DAT!!!!
