Who let the dogs out? Going after Manning like a pack a wild dogs or standing in the field like sheep?
I think we'll get after him. |

This joke is about Black Bart, and it really is a long, long joke if you tell it right. Anyway, this dude had his ranch house burnt down and all his livestock killed and his wife, well...suffice it to say that she was treated roughly. The bulk of the joke is how this guy goes on and on looking for this character named Black Bart, but when he finally finds him the guy is one tough hombre, to say the least. When he asks BB if he's the one who did all that stuff, BB stands up and is this giant of a guy with a scruffy beard and scars and just really one mean looking guy, and he says, "yeah...what about it?" The other guy says, after a long pause..."You better cut that $hit out." |

Re: Gregg Williams suggests the Saints want to injure Manning
I think if a quarterback enters a game, he is a player just like the other ten on the field. If he gets injured, that is part of the game. However targeting a particular player with the intentions of injuring him enough to take him out of the game, or maybe ending his career, I think, is poor sportsmanship. Don't get me wrong, a clean hit is a clean hit. If you can get to the quarterback, take him down as quickly as possible to keep him from making plays. If it happens to be Payton Manning then so be it. Personally, I think Greg Williams is playing a psycological game with Peyton Manning and the Colts' offensive line. I think Williams is just putting a little doubt in Manning's head, enough doubt that maybe he will hurry his passes and throw interceptions. However I think it may backfire. The refs are already going to be on Mannings side, this just gives them more ammunition. I feel this comment will not effect Manning in the least and will only draw more attention to the hits put on Manning and cause more personal foul penalties against the Saints. I think comments like that should be kept to yourself.

I agree Hulka. What the Saints D does, and when they do it, and how they get it done should be planned in private, then it should be for fans to watch and celebrate; not for the public and the media to spin, take out of context, and used to ruffle feathers and elevate a news story.

Re: Gregg Williams suggests the Saints want to injure Manning
the defence will do its thing like the nfc champ. game. but now its time for the big "O " to lay the wood big time. drew needs to put together a 400 plus 5 td game for the ages. this is the biggest game in his life. there can't be no rust in the sling, throw the dam ball like everyone knows he can chunk it. then marcus colston needs to catch the ball like we know he can. coach payton needs to call a game like we know he can. then we drink beer into the morning hours after.
