I've never been to Leesville or any of those little "clubs" south of town where the army guys go. How would I even know about them? A friend told me. Obviously, some dude who looks like me was hanging around. |

Re: Times have changed
My mom says there are now three classifications of Saints fans.
Who Dats!!!!....... have been there since birth. New Dats........... Just got here in the past 20 years. Re-Dats.............Were here once or twice, then left to root for the cowboys, packers, patriots or Jake Delhomme and now have come back. |

Re: Times have changed
Times are changing, but there is nothing new under the sun. The same things that draw you will drive you. When all the hooplah has died down, and the pendulum has swung back to a rebuilding cycle, we will be back to having plenty of elbow room at the Black&Gold table. But for now, its kind of nice to be living Mardi Gras mode everyday.

close. "NAK a TISH." famous for meat pies. (addicting) And the biggest Christmas light festival anywhere. Oh, yeah... and Steel Magnolias. I go there when Im sick of big cities, to make my blood pressure drop. Beautiful riverside B&B's. massive history-- would you believe older than New Orleans? its true.
Go to Many one night, and tell me if every girl there isnt drop dead beautiful. |

Re: Times have changed
I was born in New Orleans and lived there until 1977 when I joined the Marine Corps. It's still my home and always will be. The people are the best in the world, the food is the best and now the football team is going to be the BEST! I remember listening to the games on the radio the first few years because they didn't ever come on TV. My fondest memory was listening to the kick by Tom Dempsey. I still cry whenever I recall that moment and now I'll have a another moment after we beat the Colts!
