Re: Dwight Freeney, star defensive end for the Indianapolis Colts, may miss Super Bowl XLIV with serious ankle injury
OK, I remember now. We were at Applebee's watching the game and now I recall it being yet another blowout. Everyone was cheering. Even though some consider AZ Pittsburgh West, it seems everyone in the bar that night wanted the Saints to win. It would be great seeing you guys win it all this year. The games you won were impressive and it just seemed everything was clicking at the right time. I look forward to the Saints hoisting the Lombardi. The Steelers play the Saints this upcoming season. Unless the Steelers work miracles on their o-line, I can only imagine how many times Ben will be on the ground for that game!

I hate Jerry Jones, and knew it would stick in his craw, to know that the Steelers had one more superbowl than his Cowboys.

And I share your feelings about Jerry Jones, but then again, who doesn't? He's everything that represents wrong in the NFL, well him and Goodell that is, but let's not go there, lol! The Colts fans are young and most only became fans when Manning started winning. They'll be gone when he's gone. I know every fanbase has obnoxious fans, but man these Colts fans go beyond that, it's the arrogance and cockiness I can't stand. Believe me, the Saints win, the Colts fans will have all kinds of excuses. That's what they're really good at.
Good luck on Sunday. I'm sure I'll be back around to check in but you should know we here in the 'burgh are rooting for "yinz" to bring that Lombardi to sweet NO! |

Re: Dwight Freeney, star defensive end for the Indianapolis Colts, may miss Super Bowl XLIV with serious ankle injury
Please don't lump me in with the Jerky Colts fans. I have been very respectful, and try to talk about football.
The Colts are a great team. So are the Saints. the game this Sunday will not change either of those facts. I have been a Colts fan since they came to town in 1984. I was a junior in high school. I think how Bob Irsay did it was a travesty. Although, Baltimore DID try to steal the team from him. I think he had the right to leave, and probably should have... but in the middle of the night was a cowardly way to go about it. Jim Irsay is a lot more stand up dude. I don't like his politics... but he's not a dick like his dad was. The Saints rock. They are probably my favorite NFC team. I have some allegiance to the Packers too. I was a Bears fan when I was a kid... but now I realize I was a Walter Payton fan, not a Bears fan. Sorry to ramble. 6 days till two great teams clash. I can't wait. Jabba |

Re: Dwight Freeney, star defensive end for the Indianapolis Colts, may miss Super Bowl XLIV with serious ankle injury
The facts are that the Colts are the more consistently good team. That being said, the Saints are more consistent each year over the last 3-4 years. If the Saints show up playing their best ball....no way we lose!!! PERIOD!!! If both teams show up playing their best ball, no way we lose!!!!PERIOD!!!!
The Saints are more likely to show up without there A game than the Colts are, like I said they are the most consistent team in the NFL!!!! I just don't see how that happens though.... My mind can not conceive failure at this point!!! We have overcome to much and come to far to beat ourselves!!!!! I really really like our chances of winning this game!!!!! WHO DAT!!!!!! |
