I know an NFL official. He is actually the Maint Director for our local parks department. I'll respect his privacy by not naming him.
That same charachter you see in Sean Payton and Drew Brees are the same I've witnessed in the gentlemen I refer to. I get the impression that the officials truly are fair minded and extremely professional. We always whine when we disagree with a call, but if you look at the big picture it is simply amazing they get so many calls CORRECT at the light speed this game occurs at.
