Remember when?
I don't know why but I made the mistake of going over to the colts board just to see what they were saying and as always, the loser always talks about how classless the winner is.
But when you think about classless; remember a few years ago when we were hosting the manning led colts in the Dome? The game was so lopsided that we actually stood and gave our Saints a standing ovation when we FINALLY made a first down, midway through the 2nd quarter. Later, up 31-3 with just a few seconds left in the 1st half and slightly out of field goal range, peyton called that trick play where he took the snap and acted like the play had been blown dead and started walking to the sideline with the football. Fortunately, we didn't fall for it but at the same time, our defensive players were afraid to hit peyton, fearing a penalty which would have put the colts in field goal range so they just kinda walked out with him but not harassing him. All of a sudden, marvin harrison breaks deep and peyton throws a bomb scoring a touchdown. Fortunately, the referees showed pity on us and claimed they had blown the play dead. A trick play, up 31-3. real class. It was before Katrina but I remember it like it was yesterday. To me, that made the interception he threw this time all the more sweet. |
