For years now we have heard nothing but Peyton Manning and Tom Brady when discussing the greatest quarterbacks in the NFL. Those two names are usually the only ones mentioned when speaking of the "elite class" in the league.
Drew Brees has often been mentioned in the same breath as those two, but then people always said, "but he's never won the big game." This past season that changed...a lot. Brees won big game after big game and then got the greatest accomplishment of all in a Super Bowl ring. Now officially considered one of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL and topping off a great season with a Super Bowl MVP; Brees' face is being seen just about everywhere you look now. He led the New Orleans Saints' victory parade on Tuesday night downtown, but now he's all over the country and it's not in just one or two places either. One of his first appearances was on the Late Show with David Letterman. |

Re: Drew Brees everywhere since Super Bowl Victory
He's quite good as a representative for the team and the city.

I was not able to see Ellen. I was home in time for Oprah, but only caught the end of Brees and Britanny's interview.
I saw him on letterman. At 31, most likely will finish career with Saints, probably will play for 2 -3 more years, SB winner now, young family, Cinderella story, charitable couple, city power couple, I can go and on, I really hope he grabs some endorsement deals. AutoZone, Fruit of The Loom, some kind of national product or service. Make it ,the money, while he can for his future. If he and his wife can be in pitching some product together like orange juice, fine. |

Re: Drew Brees everywhere since Super Bowl Victory
I watched him on Oprah yesterday, and Letterman Monday night. Also watched the clip of him on Ellen. I've noticed I am watching a lot of tv shows I don't normally watch, just to catch a glimpse of DB.
