Out of all of our UFA's, I see Sharper being the most targeted. If you have to franchise him, do it. Keep him a Saint till he retires. Whatever it takes... Now Grant on the other hand..... I think he would look good in Detroit....

i think this is a good move to franchise him. we need to keep him, but, how many more great years does he have left? if he has a great year for us again last year, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, we repeat, we sign him to a 2 or 3 year contract (assuming he wont sign a 1-year) and let him retire w/ us.

He is the heart of that defense....and you have to admit that they would skip a beat if Sharper wasn't there. Negotiate a three year deal with incentives and keep him around after he retires.
