Talk about ballsy! This does really surprise me. I would have figured that Payton would have paid for it and have delivered it himself to Jones. hmmmm......guess not.

6. I think the Saints are close to a long-term deal with guard Jahri Evans, which would be a coup. They don't want to keep having to tag him and paying him a high guaranteed salary; they'd like to finalize a long-term deal with the most valuable player on their line.
I like this from King's "Ten Things I Think I Think" on page 5. We will see |

Re: Sean Payton Takes Jerry's Wine
I love what Payton did. In your face Jerry.
I don't like the talk of changing rules because of Saints wins. It comes across as "the Saints wouldn't have won if..." and "we need to change the rules to make it more fair." I'm still excited about the Superbowl win and I'm becoming easily offended at people trying to write off the wins in both the Superbowl and the NFCCG by rule change ideas or calling the offsides kick in the SB cheap. At first I ignored any negativity because it was time to enjoy the Saints biggest win in their history but after reading the good, the bad and the ludicrous I'm becoming more agitated. There. I got that out. GEAUX SAINTS!!! |
