Hughes is certainly a bit undersized for a DE in a 4-3 scheme, but could adapt and early on in his career while putting on weight, could be a 3rd down pass rush specialist in the 4-3 while also standing up and playing an outside rush LB role when we deploy 3-4 looks on defense. He was very productive in college notching 28.5 sacks and 40.5 tackles for loss in his career. I would be a little concerned about his ability to disengage from tackles at the NFL level which is probably why most are projecting a switch to LB. He would also have to learn to drop in coverage in order to play LB in a 4-3 scheme. That said, I think he could be a valuable addition and see playing time as a pass rush specialist at end and as a 3-4 rush LB when Williams deploys that package.

No way, not only do we have no use for him, he would never go in the second round to anyone

Just say NO...to tee-bow.

He won't go to us but some dumb ass team will most certainly pick Tebow in Round 2. In fact I'll go ahead and give it my Stockman Draft Special COLD HARD LEAD PIPE LOCK: Tim Tebow will be picked by some dumb ass team in the 2nd Round of the Draft. Also, the Saints will not draft Cody out of Alabama in any round.

You guys can take those to the bank.

256 total picks in the NFL draft

we have 6 picks this season

thats a 2.3% chance we pick any player in the draft.....

in fact.....there are 24 positions on a football team if you include punters and kickers

thats a 9.3% chance that a team even picks the same position as you predict

according to walterfootball.com there are 37 possible defensive tackles that could be taken in this draft

which means even if we pick a DT there is a 97% chance we dont select terrence cody

if you include the fact that a team might not even pick that same position as you predicted.....there is a .01% chance that a team will select the player you predict

so the odds are in your favor obviously.....although i will say its funny that you continue to drag these arguments from 1 thread to another

Have you calculated the odds that Tebow will be picked in the second round?

Well hop to it!

Not only do I love the odds that mystery dumb ass team selects Tebow in Round 2, I am predicting that a team from early round three will trade up with us on Friday night and pick him at pick number 64. How's that for a prediction? Precise enough for you slap?
