do you think we could get any good sign and trade players. im still not sold on bush and think we could easily replace him with this draft or a free agent. what do you think his value is?

the trouble is that with this offseason's rules we cant really sign anyone

we have to focus on all of our free agents.

in order to sign a free agent, we have to lose one of equal or greater value. i think thats why we are bringing in guys like leonard little and jamal williams

sign and trade players are difficult to find as well because not only do you have to find a player to sign, you have to find a team that wants that player bad enough to give up somethin they already have

this FA class isnt nearly as good as next year's class so i imagine teams will be trying to load up for next year

as far as bush goes.....im not happy about his contract, but like someone mentioned....its not my money to decide

i like him as a player because of his ability to make plays out of nothing. his punt return average was terrible this year but theres a reason for that......teams kept puntin to him because they knew he would try and return everything....but when teams punted to him they often kicked it higher than farther so the coverage would get down the field and he wouldnt get a big return

reggie continues to break records for most receptions and reception yards for running backs and is well on his way to becoming the greatest receiving RB of all time.......but his running game leaves a lot to be desired

Re: keith bullocks

just think at 32 we could get a back like jevid best which i dont think is a huge drop off. just wondered if we could trade him for a first which mite end up being better than jevid or trade for a good D player that would help us more.

i think we could probably upgrade our running game at 32...but i dont think we are going to

if we draft a RB it wont be til later in the draft IMO

jahvid best is one of the RBs this year that caught my eye....i thought he was the best RB coming out this year but CJ Spiller won that battle and now there are a few guys trying to climb the boards after their combine and pro day......i believe jahvid best will be there at 32, but im not sure the saints will value him higher than a DT or LB

also....theres a guy coming out next year from WVU named noel devine

he is a lot like reggie bush and he is projected in the mid rounds.....but he doesnt have the issues with fumbling......it'll be interesting to see where he lands next year

Re: keith bullocks

i didnt mean to draft him unless we traded bush for a d player. i was thinking bush for a good DL or LB then fill his role with a lower priced free agent or draft someone like best. or if we got a high 2nd or 1st for bush we could still go for him and D.

if we got that good of a deal im sure we would bite

perhaps then we might target a RB just because of our lack of depth

who ru looking at for trade partners?

Re: keith bullocks

that would have to depend on a team liking him to know that. i sometimes wonder if merriman would fit with us. he was a beast pre injury but dont think he would fit with us. i hear seatle likes him. the whole usc thing. maybe we could get a pick from them. they draft high so it would prob be an early 2nd. i just think bush is replaceable. we dont miss him when he is hurt and when he is there he is kinda soft. plus fumble problems. i do think he ran hard in the SB though. actually lowered shoulders insted of just running out of bounds.

Re: keith bullocks

how bout a team like KC. they want a rb. they dont like dt dorsey all that much and derrick johnson isnt fitting in the 3-4 very well. how about one or both and which would you want first? lots of people here wanted them both comming out of colledge. both fit our needs.
