Round 1. Terrance Cody, DT, Alabama - Even as a part-time player, Mount Cody will serve to upgrade a leaky run defense.

Round 2. Chad Jones, S, LSU - The local product becomes Darren Sharper's heir apparent.

Round 3. Rennie Curran, LB, Georgia - An aggressive linebacker who fits well into Gregg Williams scheme.

Round 4. Colin Peek, TE, Alabama - (No comments)

*No 5th Round pick*

Round 6. Chris Brown, RB, Oklahoma - (No comments)

Round 7. Chris Hawkins, CB, LSU - (No comments)

My thoughts on this list, is that after the first pick, they didn't seem to put much thought into the rest. I don't see us picking a TE at round 4, and I think LB, and S should be switched in their rounds. I don't know about Cody as our first pick either. I would prefer Williams, or Price over Cody at DT, and also, I think DE is more important than safety at this point.
Whomever did the mock draft for the Saints must be SEC homers! All but the 6th round are from the SEC!

Grade: F

Cody has weight problems, and that's eating bland food.

I'm a big LSU fan, and a big Chad Jones fan, but he's somewhat of a
tweener. He is too slow to be a FS, too small to be a WLB. Maybe he would
make a good SS behind Harper and play Special Teams.

cody lost 15 lbs in under 30 days

theres a guy we are bringing in to look at this week who weighs in at 350 lbs just like cody

albert haynesworth weighs 350 and plays in a 4-3

shaun rogers weighs 350 lbs

kris jenkins weighs 360 lbs

seems to me like cody playing at 350 would be a perfect fit

I think Cody has a weight problem, you don't. We'll have to agree to
disagree on that one. Time will reveal who is right, but meanwhile, I
wouldn't want to take a chance.

Even without the Cody pick, I still grade that mock an F.
