Enough Excuses!

I dont usually go off bad mouthing the Saints or the coaches but one thing is really starting to bug me. We can spend all season complaining about AB, the defense, the penalties. But I am really starting to believe it is Haslett. First off, I have never heard any talk about any type of motivation by Haslett. Then there's the excuses, every time we loss he's making excuses for screwed up plays. "Well all they scored on was Mickey Mouse plays" HELLO! THATS WHAT YOU PREPARE FOR! Penalties are part of the game! IT'S CALLED DISIPLINE JIM!!!

Now Haslett had one succussful season-----His First! Every player is gonna do his best and be on his best beharvior for a new coach. So with that, he got results. Maybe its time he starts to demand results!

What yall think?

I have been a BIG Haslett supporter but I\'m really starting to question HIS leadership ability. I\'m also starting to question his decision making ability. This team at worst is a 10-6 or 9-7 team. This team has the ability with the right coaching to win 12 games this year -- IMO. I don\'t pay much attention to what Jim tells the media -- All I\'m concerned about is the WINS.

I\'m willing to give him this year, but if he doesn\'t get it done, I\'m for another coach.

i think Haz is part of the problem, a big part, but he can\'t control wut the players do in a game while they\'re on the field, thats the players problems, the D needs to shape up, the O-line needs to shape up, the offense just needs to get going, if we don\'t make the playoffs this year, Haz needs to ship out.

Just remember, you predicted 11-5 or 12-4 this season - said that they are a 10-6 team at worst (you said that again above), you said the offense would get better, and the defense would get noticably better. You said we\'d be in the playoffs and be a contender for the division crown. You were busy blasting those of us three weeks ago for saying exactly what you just said above. Just remember all the ish you talked and how you came after us so fervently a month ago. If this keeps up and the Saints end up 8-8 I want an apology.
