Owners pass Overtime rule proposal

TR makes a good point ... if they are going to change it, just put ten minuted on the clock and be done with it.

It's a bad point actually. Team A would use a ball controlled offense to run time off the clock, kick a field goal, and leave Team B with little time to try and tie or win. There has to be a sudden death component to it, especially for the playoffs.

This is not college football. I'm sure we can all agree that no one wants to watch 6 OT pro football games.
