Re: Rings?
CM did help us win vs the Pats and Redskins so I'd say throw him a ring too. Plus, he has a really cool truck )

Re: Rings?
what do u guys think about this? so everyone thinks deuce is getting a ring, and he probably will. i have no argument with it. yes he was our workhorse for years, is a huge fan favorite, and is our all time greatest rb. IF you were deuce, would u feel right accepting a super bowl ring even tho u didnt contibute on the field at all this season? yeah he was a honorary captain for the post season and gave the city a huge emotional boost. but do u think we wouldnt have won the super bowl if he didnt lead the team onto the field? or do u think he was x-factor and totally pushed the team over the top? honest opinions

I don't know. It is what it is, and whatever happens I'm sure at the end of the day everyone will just be happy for the fact that they won it all. Man, I'm ready for some exciting things to happen so we can discuss better topics than who gets a ring. Who cares anyway?! |

Re: Rings?
I think if Deuce does get a ring, he and everybody knows that it's only honorary. I think that he would consider it an honor to recieve such a gift from the team he worked so hard for. I think that he would also consider it a gift from the fans in showing their appreciation for everything he has done in his career. So yes, if one is offered to him, I believe he will humbly accept it in the spirit that it is given.

Re: Rings?
My take is anyone who was on the active roster for any part of the regular or post season should indeed get a ring. I mean thank goodness for guys like CM and MM who were willing to sign at such a desperate time for the Saints. These guys are no longer great players, but at least they came in and helped out during that bad injury period.
