Bulger is smart and has a good arm. Payton would know if he fits the system. Personally, I believe that he would be an upgrade over our elder statesman backup.

With the Saints O-Line and weapons, Bulger could absolutely win games for the Saints if the unthinkable happens. He is without a doubt an upgrade over the current backup.
