Re: Is there a possibility of trading Brown for Haynesworth?
I know he was but what will happen when he gets the money?...I have Sully flashbacks....but i could live with it and let him prove me wrong...

Re: Is there a possibility of trading Brown for Haynesworth?
Think about it bro, he's going to have alot to prove either way. He dropped from what, a top ten pick? To a potential second rounder? He will be angry, and mean, and already huge! I say take him, so he can show the all the other teams how stupid they were to let him pass. Him dropping could turn out to be the best thing for his career.

Re: Is there a possibility of trading Brown for Haynesworth?
i'm afraid every team is scared of mt. cody's 9 month abs, there's a real chance of him going to camp so over weight and they have to fine him every day he's over. then that's when he gets pissed and discouraged. then he loses his heart and he's a sully

Re: Is there a possibility of trading Brown for Haynesworth?
Yeah, but Cody has ALWAYS played large. Thus the name Mount. If he was too small, I doubt he would be as effective. This is his payday guys, he will lose the weight, and he will be in shape when he gets to camp. I just have a feeling about him.

Re: Is there a possibility of trading Brown for Haynesworth?
saints fans are worried about cody because of 1 reason
his name is jonathan sullivan i'll let you guys in on a little secret tho THEY ARE 2 DIFFERENT PLAYERS did sully try to lose the weight? hell no. but cody is at least trying to do what he can to make other people happy. he can play at whatever weight he shows up at and he proved that in college he even had a solid game in the senior bowl at 370.....now he is below 350 and you guys still question his work ethic or weight? give me a ****ing break |
Re: Is there a possibility of trading Brown for Haynesworth?
The Redskins have paid off most of Albert's contract so that at this point the value is only $16 million over 3 years with $9 million guaranteed. Getting rid of Brown may seem like a bad move, but Albert was the consensus #1 defensive tackle in 08 and had a pretty good season last year. He'd automatically give New Orleans the best D-line in the division and be very helpful in the playoffs against teams like Minnesota.
The Saints could always bring in someone like Flozel Adams to add depth at tackle with Brown's departure, but adding a top 3 Defensive tackle is an opportunity that shouldn't be passed up. |

and flozel adams.....he is not a good LT......a top 3 DT is not worth a trade for our top 10 LT a DT has an impact on maybe 1 or 2 plays every 4 downs a LT has an impact on every offensive play |

im all for big talented DTs but not for that much money Quote:
if it hurts to have a player on the field then he is not worthy of starting....look at jason david.....just because we won the super bowl without brown does not mean we are a better team without brown if you believe that we are better without brown then there is no sense in arguing this point anyway Quote:
i know i watched all but 4 games this season....and i know nearly every snap i had my eyes glued to the offensive line......where were your googly eyes fixed on? id bet money you were watching the ball......eh? |
