this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I know alot of people are against getting rid of Brown, but to lose Brown for Haynesworth would easily give us a top 10 D...at least on paper. his contract is supposedly worth the same as what Charles Grant's was ...

Is there a possibility of trading Brown for Haynesworth?
I know alot of people are against getting rid of Brown, but to lose Brown for Haynesworth would easily give us a top 10 D...at least on paper. his contract is supposedly worth the same as what Charles Grant's was worth. I for one wish this trade would happen. our D line would be pretty damn good. then the possibility of drafting Witherspoon or another defensive player. Our D would have a whole new attitude.
Smith-End Ellis- DT Hargrove-DT/ End Haynesworth-DT Brown- End McCray- End Charleston- End |

that would give us 3 possible pro bowlers on our D line and we know how good our O line already is. we would definetly win the battle in the trenches

Re: Is there a possibility of trading Brown for Haynesworth?
not on offense
you dont trade pro bowl LTs in their prime......for anybody this would be a foolish trade especially for all the cry babies about getting a true NT....why would we get rid of a pro bowl LT for a NT that fits best in a 3-4 and why would we trade for a player who did exactly what all you guys complain about all the time....signed his contract and stopped playing |

For once I agree with Canton. Albert is on the down swing and just signed a 100 millon dollar contract.
