Re: Saints-Vikings opener would be slam dunk for NFL and NBC
The falcons are always a possibility. We reopened the dome with the falcons and they had us and the falcons on Monday Night last year and it was a good draw. Personally, I'd like it to be the steelers, someone I haven't seen play. We've "been there, done that" with the vikings and falcons.

Let's get it straight. The Vikings could have Pro Bowl talent at every position, and the Saints would still beat them. Because they are a bunch of choke artists led by the ultimate choke artist, Brett Favre. |

It will be the Vikes. I agree though, without Favre, I don't think it will draw as much attention. It will get attention, but not as much. The Vikes loudmouths, are already talking about how bad they are going to beat us. What else would u expect outta the most classless fans in the league though?

Bring in ATL and we'll get an early jump on the division. Let Gleason be an honorary captain as a thank you from the re-opening |

Re: Saints-Vikings opener would be slam dunk for NFL and NBC
I wonder if the city of New Orleans has any say in this. I just made my hotel reservations for that night and weekend at the place I always stay and was talking to the reservations manager and he said "ANYBODY but the vikings!". He said that not only were they the rudest and cheapest fans in the NFL, but the way they left rooms made him think that they had brought their hogs with them. He said falcons fans are preferable. Who would have thought it.
