Ok, we've gone CB and now OT, there had better be a trade in the works for a DT. I understand this kid at CB might have an upside in the future, but you don't use first round picks on upside. That's for the third, and down rounds. If your drafted you have an upside, LOL. We haven't addressed need yet. Most of you are talking about good coverage, so the pick makes sense. Part of me agrees with you, but what about the huge ass runs our D line gave up last year. I hope our new CB can tackle RB's after they've burst of 8-10 yards per play. If we have the lead the formula works, but if we get behind other teams are gonna kill us with the run. So, I hope something is going on at the FO to get us a trade for a quality DT.

once again......you'll grow up eventually.....everybody does

If all he did was hate everything you say, how could there have been anything wrong with his comment?

Agreed. Good cover corners are not easy to find. You can teach a guy zone coverage, but you can't teach how to shut down a receiver in man to man. This allows us to shift Jenkins to Safety, gives us some amazing depth, and fits the defensive scheme perfectly. I don't see the issue.

We can get a run stuffer later. A good run stuffer doesn't HAVE to be a high round pick. I know Canton is a big believer in the silly concept that if you aren't a top round pick you can't be good, but you aren't going to find shutdown corners on the street like PT23 (Whom, according to Canton, can't handle the role of starting RB because he wasn't drafted.)

Um, you lost me there. I still think Meatchump was a wasted pick. Greg Olsen was still out there. Sidney Rice... Zach Miller... LaMarr Woodley... Meatchump bad.

How? It's as easy as breathing and thinking rationally. And, FYI Strato, Special Olympiads get awards too.
