Ok, we've gone CB and now OT, there had better be a trade in the works for a DT. I understand this kid at CB might have an upside in the future, but you don't use first round picks on upside. That's for the third, and down rounds. If your drafted you have an upside, LOL. We haven't addressed need yet. Most of you are talking about good coverage, so the pick makes sense. Part of me agrees with you, but what about the huge ass runs our D line gave up last year. I hope our new CB can tackle RB's after they've burst of 8-10 yards per play. If we have the lead the formula works, but if we get behind other teams are gonna kill us with the run. So, I hope something is going on at the FO to get us a trade for a quality DT.

Re: Patrick Robinson

We needed a nickle corner anyway so I thought it was a good pick considering all of the players that were taken before that we wanted.

Re: Patrick Robinson

just watched the first round again on NFL network

immediately after the pick mayock said the word "upside"

earlier in the day i remember somebody making a comment about that word that makes a lot of sense......upside is a word that means "didnt see it in college"......if we didnt see it in college then i get worried about the projection in the NFL

he also noted that robinson had 6 picks during his sophomore year and only 1 since then.......he commented that its easy to say that teams just stopped throwing at him but it simply wasnt the case......said robinson gets beat pretty regularly

said he watched tape of him......1 game he thought the kid could go in the top 10......next 2 tapes said he shouldnt get drafted til the 4th round

"deal with it or you can go play the saints and get trounced by 30 and you won't have to worry about it."-colin cowherd
