Didn't they win an award this year as a group for their OL play?

I mean it's hard to hate a pick that's "in the trenches" like OL, at least it wasn't a toy WR or something....but I'm still shocked.

It is my position that our line is above average without Brees at QB and elite with Brees at QB. That's all I'm saying, and you can never have enough depth across the o-line.

I was facing the camera on that picture taken in the Dome, or at least toward it. I changed it to the rear view because there are several people on this site I would NOT want to be able to recognise me. :)
People know what I look like by now so I'll probably just use the little comic strip girl for the time being. I can sympathize with all her problems.

I'm glad it's over! It was depressing watching everyone around us draft impact players and get stronger while we picked practice squad guys. After the first round, our picks were totally random. Then there was that last pick. A left handed quarterback? Don't you have to flip your entire offense for a left handed quarterback? How can a left hander be the backup for Drew, who is right handed? Also, we never picked a replacement for Fujita so you know we already have someone out there in mind but we have to wait until someone picks up Sharper to free up that unrestricted free agent slot before we can get him on board. That means we won't have Sharper this year and I kinda wanted him to break the record as a Saint. All in all, I've had happier weekends as far as being a Saints fan is concerned.

They complained about us being whiners after Katrina too. The thing is that I'm sure we probably have some master plan. It's just not clear what that plan is.
