I don't know if anyone else noticed it but late in the game they were showing the Saints players on the sidelines. They flashed on Donte' Stallworth, I think, as they say one picture tells the story. The look on his face told me the complete story of the Saints this year. They're lost! He looked to have that deer in the headlights look. He looked like a little boy lost in the big bad woods. This bunch looks as if they have packed it in already. One or two players might still be playing like a pro but you could count the number on two hands. I mean out of 53 players you'd think more than 20 players wanted to earn the respect of their peers and their fans. If there are 20 on this team that haven't given up, I wish someone would tell me who they are.

I won't say I'm giving up on them just yet but I'm finding it hard to find any kind of positive to go on. Things just have to get better, sad thing is I don't know how it can.

You\'re right Joesam. The players have given up on this team already. Some were off the train last week but tonight was the icing on the cake for many of them.

This is why I think they have to make some drastic changes VERY soon. Believe it or not but I think they can still turn this team around BUT it is going to take new coaching. I do think a GOOD new Off Coord can come in here and get the offense on track this year. It will not take a complete revamping of the system but some tweaking.

At the end of the game, when Bouman and the subs were in, I took a peak at the Aints sideline - there were 5 guys standing up. EVERY other player was on the bench, and even some of the coaches were too! Never have I seen an NFL sideline with only 5 players standing up. Never.
