"or other FAs we decide to bring in"
Exactly. As you previously stated...you don't have a big board or better yet (my words not yours) whom the FO has targeted at DT, LB, or FS! From your recent posts, it seems you believe Loomis and Payton, based on their draft and selection of UDFA, should give the Lombardi Trophy away right now! IMHO, I give Loomis and Payton the benefit of the doubt and will do so to until us fans reach that pinnacle as coach and GM. |

"its a new year brother.....everything starts over....nobody cares that we won it last year anymore except us"...FYI this is YOUR quote As I stated in a earlier response to you...intuitively obvious to the most casual observer! |

of course im not an NFL scout or evaluator......DUH nobody here is if nobody recognizes the obvious then it might not be obvious pointing it out might just be enough for some people to understand the real issues at hand for instance....we didnt upgrade our run defense in this draft....sure we can trust the draft experts in our FO.....but thats irrelevant because we still didnt upgrade our run defense in this draft |

Brown on one side and Wil Smith on the other with the rest in some type of rotation. Although Hargrove is a better End Brown coming in almost ensures he will stay inside where he was productive last year. Although not as good as it could be with Brees and Company putting up 30+ each week it will be adequate. |

hargrove got a lot of attention for being productive without getting many snaps he best serves us as a 3rd down pass rusher....didnt get much playing time other than that..... however....if hargrove starts at DT then ellis is NT and that is not the best way to use him.....ellis works best when manned up against a guard....doesnt help us very much if hes getting the double teams because hes too small to occupy double teams for the entire play i agree that alex brown should start at DE and i believe that shanle could be upgraded.....but as it stands now, i cant see anybody taking his starting spot my main concern at LB is troy evans.....can he start and be as productive as fujita was last season? |
