Where\'s that post on Venturi when you need it? If I remember correctly, last season was the first time in his career (or close to it) that he has EVER been a head coach or top coordinator on a winning team. EVER!!!! I hate him.

WhoDat,
I\'m not sure if this is what you wanted... 1996 Jan. 12 - Bill Kuharich, VP of football operations was promoted to VP/general manager; Jan. 30 - Jim Haslett was promoted to defensive coordinator; Feb. 4 - T William Roaf & CB Eric Allen participated in the Pro Bowl in Honolulu; April 15 - For the 1st time in club history, the entire Saints organization is housed under one roof with the move to the club\'s new facility at 5800 Airline Drive in Metairie; April 20 - The Saints select Oregon CB Alex Molden with their 1st pick in the NFL draft; Oct. 21 - After a 19-7 defeat to the Carolina Panthers a day earlier, Saints head coach Jim Mora, the longest-tenured coach in all of professional sports, resigned after 10 1/2 years with the club ... Mora, who led the Saints to their 1st winning seasons & 1st-ever playoff appearances, ended his stay with a short statement thanking owner Tom Benson and the Saints fans for their support; Oct. 23 - Rick Venturi, the Saints\' LB coach, was named interim head coach, the 11th head coach in team history; Dec. 12 - T William Roaf was selected as a starter for the NFC in the Pro Bowl, his 3rd consecutive selection ... DT Wayne Martin was chosen to the NFC team as an alternate; Dec. 21 - The Saints finished the season with a 3-13 record. I took this from the official site http://www.neworleanssaints.com/cust...pageid=66#1990 |

You want to laugh, it was Haslett that pushed to take Molden over Eddie George. I guess the organization thought Mario Bates was the second coming!
