Re: The Jahri Evans deal in detail
It's just a very smart move by the Saints. If you have the cash to pay out to Evans then this is the year to front load a contract like this. If the salary cap does return next year, the Saints will be in excellent shape. I hope they work out the same type of deal with Thomas and Brees. Not sure they will have the cash to payout Brees like this, however.

Re: The Jahri Evans deal in detail
Loomis is the man. He knows how to write contracts that will make everybody happy. That win has certainly opened Benson's wallet and he's throwing just the right amount of cash to keep his core of players together. We are in the process of putting almost an identical team on the field as last year. We are changing the guard at a couple of positions but I don't anticipate any loss of production. In fact we are upgrading. I can't wait to see the devastation that we leave in our path.

Re: The Jahri Evans deal in detail
Evans is so good and so young he will probably see every dime of this contract. Unreal.
