Point taken. IMO -- there\'s nothing wrong with asking the QB to do more, but in reality he\'s had a better season so far then most everyone on the team. So, Aaron should be way down on that list of players you want to see perform better, but you seem to being wanting to put more on him than some other players that have played much worse. Or, at least you aren\'t metioning any of \'em by name. You are specifically mentioning Brooks !

Unfortunately Billy, you and I and perhaps lummOx are in the minority. I continue to find it interesting that most of the Brooks bashers are on this board. They should call this site \"agenda.net\".

Why oh why isn\'t anyone talking about our less than average performance either pass or run blocking? Why won\'t people on this board acknowledge dropped balls? True, injuries are no excuse but c\'mon...6 starters + down on defense would be difficult for ANY team to deal with. How do these folks think the Bucs or Panthers would do with that number of starters down?

Our blocking has been decent at times, but in the games I\'ve seen so far this year, mor often than not, Deuce has no where to run and Brooks is running for his life. Why isn\'t anyone bringing that up as a problem...I\'m no football guru, but if I can see that where the hell are the rest of you people looking, and in particular those of you that continue to blame our QB? What the hell are you people smokin\'?

C'mon Man...

Yea, I have mentioned him specificly. But also I have mentioned Duece and Horn. These should be the leaders on our team. Both Brooks and Duece have been playing pretty well this year (less one game each). But I see Duece as more vocal a leader than Brooks is. This is what I am asking him to improve upon. As LummOx pointed out, these are things not seen in stats
He has poor intangible qualities in my opinion, that no stats can backup. Lack of a fiery disposition, vocal leadership
I could have said the same thing about Ricky Williams when he was around.
I think that Duece is more vocal. And we all know that Horn is.
I guess I just think of the QB as the leader of the team, and should be the one showing the leadership qualities.
I don\'t have any issue with how he is playing. Just how he is leading. But that relates back to the rest of the team just not playing with heart.

I\'ve brought it up but everyone just seems to blow it off and try to tell me it\'s Brooks\' fault because he should have pulled a rabbit out of his azz. It\'s always something. Aaron gets sacked and it\'s because he should have audibled or something. Some of these guys refuse to talk about anything but the QB. You would think that as long as they have watched football that they would at least have a clue. Now I will say this. LummOx, is fair. He\'s not Pro Brooks or Anti Brooks. B&B -- has gone on record and said the jury is still out as far as Brooks is concerned. Some members are just damn sure EVERYTHING is on Aaron Brooks. Hell, 08, has the answeres but nobody will give him a chance to coach. Know anyone that can hook 08 up with a coaching job???

Agree with you on that one. I want to see Brooks improve on that also.

Guys, guys. Why in the world should we be different from any other team in the league. Many here bring up the Jets last year. Do you guys seem to remember THEY HAD A QB CHANGE! Teams replace ineffective qbs every single year in college and in pro. Why does Brooks have a get out of jail free card here? He\'s not a rookie. He\'s been starter two full years now and is regressing. If we don\'t make a change it\'s because the coaching staff are a bunch of morons!

I swore I would NEVER respond to \"doggie\", but I have to point out his lack of vision...

Now, \"doggie\", the KEY to your post is the word \"ineffective\". Now, when Brooks becomes consistantly ineffective we can discuss it, but so far he hasn\'t been consistantly ineffective. Why don\'t you join \"08\" on the panthers web site or something and stop wasting my (any everyone else\'s for that matter) time.

\"You KNOW? You know no such thing !! It could happen, but they might start winning !! You guys kill me coming in here stating things as FACTS. I seem to remember the Jets getting killed their first 3 or 4 games last year and they went to the playoffs and beat the Colts 44-0. Don\'t say it can\'t happen or you KNOW what\'s going to happen!! But, sure FWtex, it COULD happen.\"

I saw where someone already beat me to it but I wanted to laugh at you myself. Yes Billie I DO KNOW what I am talking about.

And I see my \"Billie\" is holding true. On -off, on-off, on-off. then you say you are just being too emotional and can\'t think straight? LOL!!!!!!!
