Re: Who would be our biggest loss after Brees?
After Brees, I would have to say Garrett Hartley. His accuracy was invaluable in both the NFC Championship game and the Super Bowl, making a total of 4 field goals from beyond the 40, including 3 in the SB, which had never been done before. We've gone through enough bad kickers in recent history to know how important a good kicker is.

Re: Who would be our biggest loss after Brees?
Definitely Vilma (defensive side) and P. Thomas (offensive side), I think Hartley was a good mention too.... I think these three guys, behind Brees, were the most clutch and biggest play-makers / difference-makers throughout last season. I would add Sharper too but because of his age, returning from injury, only being w/ the team one year and his history peek and low seasons, I can't assume he'll be same player he was in '09

Re: Who would be our biggest loss after Brees?
Jahri Evans on the offensive side, (you see his true talent when blocking on screen passes) theres a reason hes the highest paid guard in the league. Gotta be vilma on the Defensive side, he was part of the reason porter got his pick of favre in the NFC Championship game, because vilma changed the coverage to zone.
Its been said the way vilma has such a major impact both against the run and pass is unbelievable, truly a guy who fights every down and is always around the ball. |

I'd say Vilma, Will Smith, and Evans. Colston and P.Thomas would hurt too. I hope TE Graham gets on the field. I'm from Goldsboro, NC too. Nice to see him make it.

starting LT
a running back would never be the next most important unless they have proven that they can carry the ball exclusively without getting injured like steven jackson |
