Re: How do you see the season going?
MN, SF, ATL, CAR are our first 4 games. Payton likes to break the 16 games into 4 quarters. If you look at our first quarter, it's the toughest on paper. We have a tough game with MN, on the road to SF, then ATL who play us tough, and finally CAR - which usually seems to have our number. Even with Moore at QB they have the best RB duo and we struggled with the run.
My thoughts are if we can go 3-1, or possibly 4-0, then our season could be another 12-14 win season. Fast starts are key to success. Winning build momentum. SP has talked about that over and over and he's right. After that the schedule gets a bit easier, although I don't buy our schedule's ranking of 27th. MN ATL x2 CAR x2 (Again, they always seems to give us fits) PIT (with Ben, unlike the Falcons) @ DAL @ CIN (in the cold) @ BAL (in the cold) I'd love to beat CIN & BAL just to get past our cold weather curse. But again it's about Q1 of our schedule and building that swagger. |

How many X's can I plug into this equasion?
If Brees stays healthy and GW's defense is one step better, 12-4. If the injury bug bites and we're giving up 20+ per game, 10-6 or worse. All the stars in heaven have to line up AGAIN for us to hoist the trophy. Let's hope we can squeeze our 40 year cycle into about 28 weeks. |

I'm going to have to wait to get all the reviews from camp so I can make my assessment. At this point I just don't know. Let's see how they look in TC.

Re: How do you see the season going?
I believe we will go 11-5 for the season and 4-2 in the NFC South. The D has some newer faces, but were back ups last season so they know the system. Our O is just sick!!!
It is ALWAYS nice to see the ladies!! Oh yah, and make room for another Lombardi Trophy in the front office, I WILL make it to NOLA this season for the parade. |

Re: How do you see the season going?
This is an easy one, 12-4 and another ring.
1- our offense returns intact, all w/ one year more more exp, w/o the decline of age. I think Drew is the oldest starter? 2- defense is better, for same reason about experience, plus Brown is an upgrade over Grant, and there is more depth on the line. Fujita will be missed more in the locker room than the field, and we should be able to replace his 58 tackles after a pretty intense training camp battle. 3- Our schedule is actually easier this year: TB & Car twice, Cle, Sea & Stl? Sweep those and go 5-4 in the rest. No NE or NYG or NYJ this year. 4- ST will be better; great kicking duo, and more competition to start on D means better coverage Any questions? |
