this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; It is well written about how hard it is for a defending champion to repeat and after this off season I can see why. Not to be negative but I see a let down this year. This time last year ...

How do you see the season going?
It is well written about how hard it is for a defending champion to repeat and after this off season I can see why. Not to be negative but I see a let down this year. This time last year all we heard about was football and this year all we hear about is book signings. I am predicting 10-6 with a wild card berth. What do you guys think?

I think the odds are about 43:1 against a repeat...

More skin.
In that pic, she has a forehead only Frankenstein could love. One thing is certain... it better than a picture of SkyMike. |

Re: How do you see the season going?
10-6 is a very reasonable prediction. I think we'll see a real offensive explosion this season. We've flirted with offensive greatness the last few season and this season we'll get it. The defense will be better in year two of Gregg Williams, though I think trying to pass Jo-Lonn Dunbar or Troy Evans off as a starter would be a mistake...they suck. The biggest improvement will be on special teams. Our kick coverage should be fun to watch.

Foreverfan, is that an actual picture of you? If so, you've shattered my view of what the people on this blog look like.

Re: How do you see the season going?
JCP, I agree about our coverage units. Add our rooks from last year and this year and we should be able to made big strides there. I say add our new TE to our field goal block unit and let him sky up there and get a couple this year.
As far as OLB position, I hope Arnoux wins this battle. I know he was an ILB in college but Williams has said top three will play. Kid has or at least had before his injury freakish speed. Would love to see him coming on the blitze! |
