The Associated Press New Orleans Saints receiver Larry Beavers had a big game against New England. With the surprising performance from Larry Beavers for the Saints against the New England Patriots in the first preseason game, it got us to thinking, who could be the next guy to surprise everyone (OK, everyone but the hardcore Saints fan) in tonight's game? So we put together a poll and threw out a few names. Those guys, of course, are just a small sample. Please feel free to throw out your own names and tell us why you think they'll show out. Check out the poll here Reggie Jones is leading so far. |

My pre-season-it-don't-mean-crap surprise stars of tonight's game will be...
Offense (other than the usual suspects) Chris Ivory Adrian Arrington Chase Daniel Defense (other than the usual suspects) Jon Casillas, although he's approaching usual suspect status Jo-Lonn Dunbar Chip Vaughn |

Something i would like to see is..........How people like Casillas and Gallette play after showing strong performances last week. I am looking forward to seeing how reggie jones plays, alot of good things have been heard about him from camp.

Good CB's are so hard to find. We MUST find a way to keep this kid. I doubt we can sneak him to the practice squad. Tampa, Atlanta and Carolina would all snatch this kid up. And with a week of practice against Houston (who need CB's), he'd never clear waivers. |

Chris Ivory is who I'm most excited to watch tonight. I saw him run at camp and he looked real good and I'm hoping he comes out strong. If we manage to keep Reggie Jones on the active roster we can in all likely hood say good bye to Gay. I like Gay because he's been reliable when we needed him.

My pick JImmy Grahm,,,,,and or Jeremy Shockey..the tight ends will probably be a big factor considering the Texans had a hell of a hard time covering the middle last season.
