JMO on Chase
I have got to believe after the performance of today, Chase Daniel has nailed the 2 spot down. At this point I just don't see Patrick Ramsey surviving with the Saints. Daniel gives exactly what the Saints want, someone who can come in and do well, and eliminate the need to carry 3 QB's on the roster.

I won't say Chase has it in the bag just yet, but he definitely has the inside track.

It's going to be tough for the Saints not to keep three QB's. Daniel can play in the NFL.

I have to agree with you. However from what I saw last night, a lot of Daniel's passes were a little behind his receivers. I think he stayed calm and made good decisions. He just needs to tweek his accuracy, get the ball in front of his receivers.

The thing that most impressed me about chase was his character on the field, just before half time arrington got stopped at the one yard line - did anyone notice what happened? Chase was screaming at every1 to get the line so he could spike the ball and i mean really screaming at every1!!
Plus the pass to the FB on 4th down was great. Yer he still needs to work on his accuracy, but i think hes gunna have the job locked down! |

I think once the smoke clears and preseason ends Chase will emerge as the #2 and Ramsey will be on his way, Last night made me feel better about our future I know it was only a preseason game and it is just one game but I feel better about Daniel after his performance last night now if he sits behind Drew for the next few years then one day when Mr. Brees is ready to hang up his pads we should be ok.

I like Chase a lot. But that was just one game and he did play very well. I want to see him play next week just as well.
I say the Saints keep three QB |

I too was was impressed with the his play. How ever, this was the Texans. He did not look so good against the Pats. But that was the his first game. I want to see more of him in these preseason games before I make up my mind about him. I was very pleased with Ivory. Some comepared him to Duece. I see him not as another Duece. He looked more like Ironhead to me. Hill played good as well, along with AA. But what I was most impressed with, was the play of the 2nd team O Line.
