why not have someone like Derek Jeter or someone else who is a winner. Fisher?!?!?! was he even a starter toward the end of his career?

Derek Fisher is a great competitor, but who knows with TMZ anchoring this news.

This @$$clown asked the Jazz to release him so he could return to Los Angeles to be with his daughter who has a rare disease...
He geauxs back to the Lakers and still is away for half the season (road games) and the Lakers also stole Pau Gasol in the biggest one sided deal since the Louisiana Purchase; it was shonty, at best... The guy is FOS always will be FOS and if you want inspiration, look at the guys in your own locker room and ask them to remember what it took to reach the summit... &*#$ da Lakers... We don't need Fisher, we need Defensive Tackles... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Man you guys sound like a bunch of whiny babies. It's not like Fisher will affect the outcome of the game. Give it a rest.
But yes, we need DT's - and not just to speak during the opening night game. |

That's exactly what I was thinking. It's not like the guy is coming to each and every one of your homes to talk to you personally. I don't think anyone in the organization asked for any of our approval on who they get to talk to the team. Fisher knows what it is like to be on a winning sports franchise, and what does it hurt that he comes in and talk to the team? Set all personal opinions of the guy aside and think about our boys instead of your own hatred for a player no matter what sport he plays. Like '76 said, it's not like he's going to affect the outcome. All they are trying to do is make the team want to repeat even more.
