Yer we seemed to force more 3 and outs than last year, coverage was pretty tight, would have liked to get more pressure but I think sed Ellis had a great game. Our o should get on track soon

If our D plays like that when our O gets going, gonna be A LOT of blow-outs!

Sorry, but I wasn't at all impressed with our run defense tonight. Peterson had way too many carries for 4+ yards. I screamed for someone to stop the run all through the draft because we had the same problem last year. guess we are still looking...

Pass D looked good though. Vilma had a pick, and Jenkins *ALMOST* had another one coming across from center field. But on the Viks touchdown drive, we got burned on miss-matches on two long passes.

Grade: C, maybe a B-.

Really?

I thought our D was TERRIBLE in the first half and for that first series in the 2nd half ... We couldn't stop the run to save our lives, but then we pulled it together.

I think GWill got less aggressive and everyone calmed down ... That helped. Plus, in the first half our LB's couldn't find the flats if you would have put a naked Saintsation in them ...

We held them to under 100 yards on the ground, after last year I'll take it.

I thought considering it was AP and he had no fumbles tonight we did well.

Fujita is gone and Sharper is out, just a few adjustments in players needed. AP was a monster to stop tonight must have been knocking back Red Bulls before the game. Favre looked like he missed a lot of workouts and looked drained in the second half. Drew played cautious and the Coach kicked up the running game. Important to get the win because this game could have slipped away.
