Thanks to a long period of time in between games one and two of the 2010 NFL season, the New Orleans Saints have had the chance to let a lot of lingering injuries heal. The official injury report released on Thursday shows that the "down time" paid off.
Getting ready to travel to San Francisco to face the 49ers in a Monday night game, only three Saints sat out Thursday's practice session. OT Zach Strief (knee) RB Chris Ivory (knee) LB Anthony Waters (hamstring) Two other Saints that had missed some time returned to the practice field and were full go. LB Jonathan Vilma (groin) LB Stanley Arnoux (ankle) Arnoux has actually been for arond a month after he suffered the injury early in training camp. He wore a protective boot for most of August and missed the opening game against the Minnesota Vikings. FIRST!
If Arnoux is active this week, I look forward to seeing him on D or ST. No major injuries is a blessing. |

A healthy Saints team is a very dangerous Saints team as we saw in their playoff run on the way to the Super Bowl last year. If the injuries are kept to a minimum this year, there is not much that can stop them.

This is nuts! we were pretty beaten up last year and our depth was so great we kept churning out wins then later on players came back and we continued to dominate til the end..
If we can remain fairly healthy like this all season MAN! im even feeling sorry for whoever get's in Saints way! lol |
