this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I still disagree with kicking on 1st down. The percentages were NOT in our favor. Our kicker was missing 40% of his kicks. The odds of scoring a TD with Brees and company without a turnover are much better than ...

I still disagree with kicking on 1st down. The percentages were NOT in our favor. Our kicker was missing 40% of his kicks.
The odds of scoring a TD with Brees and company without a turnover are much better than that. And we had 3 tries to make it, and then we kick. I'm not buying the "odds were in our favor" nonsense at all. |
