I hope Hartley returns better than ever, but thanks Carney for doing your job.

93 year old John Carney was the Saints hero today, scoring 10 points to lead the team to victory over the Carolina Panthers.

This kick soup is still simmering. I've tasted it and something is still missing. Don't quite know exactly what it is...and I don't like it.

I heard Coach P. on Sirius NFL this morning. He said they brought Carney back with the intent of getting some stability right away, but to also make Hartley compete for the job again... something to light a spark under him.

Carney can still kick, but let's hope we don't need any 40+ yarders to win.

The Saints will carry two kickers. When the playoffs roll around, both will be active.
